Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

With the joy of Bash comes the joy of creative problem solving. And while a testing solution is not straightforward, it's possible.
With most shell languages, the convenience of global variable scope comes at the cost of ignoring function arguments. So, fully addressing that is a good start.
From there, functions can be tested as needed.
As for
preprocesstesting, the mockups largely serve as the test framework 🤷♂️
